GNCC seeks ministry practices that respect personal boundaries, respond responsibly to concerns, and protect children, young people, and vulnerable people from harm.
Prayer and pastoral care
Prayer and pastoral support may accompany professional care where needed. Share only what is necessary and comfortable. Prayer or contact forms must not be used for emergencies.
Children and young people
A parent or legal guardian should be involved in online personal-data submissions for a child or minor. The general website is not intended to collect personal information directly from children without that appropriate involvement.
Vulnerable people
Ministry interactions should respect a person’s dignity, ability to make decisions, circumstances, and need for appropriate support. Concerns about coercion, exploitation, abuse, or unsafe conduct should be reported.
Confidentiality and its limits
GNCC seeks to handle ministry correspondence carefully, but does not promise absolute confidentiality. Information may need to be acted upon or disclosed where required by applicable law or where appropriate safeguarding action is necessary.
Do not publish or submit another person’s confidential health or personal information without appropriate authority.
Emergency situations
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service in your location. Do not wait for a website response.
Online safety
Never submit passwords, bank PINs, card details, or identity-document scans through prayer, contact, or booking forms. Be cautious of impersonation and verify unexpected requests through GNCC’s published contact pathways.
Reporting a concern
Explain the concern clearly without circulating it more widely than necessary. Include enough information for responsible review, but avoid unnecessary sensitive records.
